Our Mission
The Mission of the Chapter is to provide UTCVM students with educational, career, and other opportunities within the field of veterinary aquatics, and to develop programs to help increase the knowledge, skills, and involvement of veterinary students at UTCVM, and elsewhere, in aquatic veterinary medicine.
Chapter Objectives
The objectives of this Chapter shall be:

To serve any UTCVM student interested in becoming involved with any aspects, species and/or disciplines that pertain to or directly include aquatic veterinary medicine.

To develop activities and programs that will allow Chapter member to receive optimum knowledge and experience in aquatic veterinary medicine, and to adequately prepare them for a career that will benefit both aquatic animals and the aquatic veterinary medicine community as a whole.

To teach students about proper advancement and support of the discipline and practice of aquatic veterinary medicine, and the proper advancement and promotion of aquatic animal health and welfare, environmental and public health, and food safety.

To act as a liaison between UTCVM and WAVMA in order to maintain effective communication with others in the industry, as well as share ideas and resources that prove beneficial to all parties directly or indirectly involved.
